As we walked about in the Scarborough Sunset Market on a chilly August day, it was clear that this market is a success. The vibe was anything but cold. There was lots to see, lots to do, and certainly lots of food to eat!

Going into the market, we were greeted by a beautiful sunset. Honestly, we’ve seen this sunset many times, but it still takes our breath away every single time. The image of the sun peaking through the ocean is absolutely romantic.
But anyway, I digress. Lets walk on to the markets shall we?

It was clear that this was a popular market because it was packed with warm bodies. There were people from all different cultures enjoying their food by the fire.
Looking at the food trucks, it was apparent why the place was so popular among international resident. The stalls themselves were an international food galore. You could find Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Malaysian food, and those are just to name a few!
In total, there were around 40 food and retail vendors. A full list of vendors can be found in the markets official website page.

For food, we tried a meat platter from Churras and a couple of bao’s from Baolicious. It was small enough to carry around, and so we walked and took in the busy sights of the market.

One of the main highlights of the market is its view. Being just opposite of the beach, it was a lovely sight to sit and munch on our food as we enjoyed the view of the beach sunset.

Truly, the Scarborough Winter Sunset Markets is an amazing location for good food, good vibes, and good view. This is another place which we’d recommend for guest in our Hillary’s home stay, which is only 10 minutes away from the market.
