We’ve recently had the privilege of visiting the newly opened Hillarys Beach Club, located only 5 minutes from our homestay in Hillarys.
The club is home to a bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs called The Heart. There’s ample of parking available – but we did notice spots filling up quick, and we were there just as the restaurant opened at 11.30am.
When we arrived, there were many visitors enjoying a coffee while sitting outside. There’s a coffee kiosk conveniently located in the club itself.
There’s also a playground located right outside the building, making it perfect for children.
We decided to dine in the restaurant, and the view from inside was simply amazing – the restaurant is surrounded by scenic ocean views.
If you’re planning a visit, the restaurant does have a dress code, so slippers and shorts are not allowed.
Since we were early, we managed to get a good spot next to the window, the space is a perfect mixture of couches, high tables, and low tables. There is also a private room for functions and an outdoor dining area.
The food was a combination of classic and modern Australian. While it wasn’t the best food we had in Perth, it was still enjoyable. The restaurant also had a large selection of local wines.
Overall, Hillary’s Beach Club is certainly worth a visit to enjoy a great view, especially during sunsets! Be sure to make a reservation before dining in this great restaurant.
