One of the things we love about Western Australia is its weekend markets.
For a truly local experience, there is no better place to visit than a local market. The beauty of WA’s markets are that they each carry their own personality. Markets are a showcase of each suburb’s individual culture through their food, fresh produce, and variety stores.
Walking into the Waneroo Markets, it is clear that this market has variety, and a great deal of multiculturalism. The market was established since 1980, bringing with it an award winning, locally grown produce.

There is an abundance of stalls with reasonably-priced fresh produce. The produce itself is arranged beautifully, splayed in a multicolored fashion. WA’s fruits are seasonal, and the fruits which are in-season are peacocked at the front, so as to not be missed.

There is an array of fashion and variety stores. It ranges from arts and craft, to biker clothing, to perfumed oils. The market also houses convenience stores such as hairdressers, banks, and clothing alterations. There is truly something for everyone.
However, it is in the array of food choices where the market truly shines. Equipped with both mouth-watering Western and Asian food, visitors will never go hungry here.

The market is the perfect example of convenience and quality, and is definitely recommended as a worthwhile visit. Our Hillary’s homestay is a mere 14 minutes drive away from the markets, to enquire more about our homestay, please feel free to contact us.
